National Accounts Director


Territory Area:
Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Maryland, Delaware.

 
BASIC FUNCTION
 
The National Accounts Director's main focus is to lead and manage sales process in an assigned territory. Directly responsible for managing an existing base of prospects and growing market share for both single and multi-site new business opportunities. Represents Critical Information Network in a positive and professional manner by presenting training solutions to prospects to achieve sales objectives. Evaluates leads, develops relationships, and gains customer commitment. MUST BE LOCATED IN Territory
 
SPECIFIC DUTIES
  • Generating new business opportunities as an individual contributor for the CiNet Industrial training product line.
  • Achieving or exceeding sales quotas.
  • Identify opportunities and provide training solutions to customers.
  • Generate proposals, and negotiate sales/orders.
  • Develop and implement total solutions, which match the customers training needs ensuring ongoing positive customer relationships.
  • Maintain effective and professional communications with other team members
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
  • Required to work closely with the Business Unit Managers when responding to a Request for Proposal (RFP) to inform them of market conditions, pricing issues and the current competition on the program.
  • Strong Consultative Sales approach and Customer Focus.
  • Five plus years of sales experience with hands-on knowledge of Manufacturing Industry or Power Generation Industry and/or Five plus years of sales experience with hands-on knowledge of E-Learning or Training and Development.
  • Proven successful track record with annual quotas.
  • Experience and proven track record in selling/presenting to Upper management level and above.
  • Strong prospecting, qualifying, and closing skills. Experienced in managing extended sales cycles.
  • Good PC skills

EDUCATION
 
Bachelor's Degree (four year college or university) or equivalent experience
 
COMPUTER SKILLS
 
Microsoft Office Suite, Salesforce.com and SAP
 
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
 
Five to Ten years of Sales and Business Development (Technology/Service Consultative Sales)
