Any inability to transmit, regulate and distribute electrical power from the generating source is catastrophic. Recent power grid failures and historical storm damage in the Midwest, the Southeast and the Northeast have shown just how crippling the regional loss of electrical power can be. Like every major industry sector today, successful operation, production reliability in Transmission and Distribution is based on the performance of "Knowledge Workers", from those with the simplest of assignments to the top of the organization.
The training addresses how Transmission and Distribution systems accomplish their function, and how individual components are installed and maintained, providing essential training for those involved in the transmission and distribution of electric power.
