Whether you are a seasoned firefighter or a rookie, you will want to stay in touch with your fire hose training. FETN's Hose training will review some techniques for storing, packing, and deploying fire hose. From different rolls, different ways to pack hose and different finishes, hose training will allow you to maximize the use of hose in your department. Many departments use hose differently and some practical examples of hose deployment are demonstrated.

The care and maintenance of hose is explained, and some of the ways the fire hose may be damaged is explained. Using everyday terminology, the use of tools, appliances and other basic hose fundamentals are reviewed.
